Pyramid is an SME specialized in special foundation works, notably piles and soldier-pile walls. The company stands out for a strong field presence and a fully in-house organization.
Pyramid structured its maintenance in just 8 months thanks to Hiboo's maintenance module.
The result: precise management of interventions, based on reliable field data, without adding complexity to the teams' organization.
At Pyramid, a very field-oriented organization, with nearly 80% of the teams' time spent on worksites, posed a major challenge: maintenance tracking relied essentially on individual knowledge.
Stickers on the machines indicated upcoming deadlines, hour-meter readings were done by phone with the site managers, and the company relied on a general-purpose ERP, effective overall but poorly suited to fine-grained maintenance management.
It quickly became clear: the system relied too much on people.

Pyramid's goal was to structure maintenance while keeping a simple organization suited to a field environment.
The company therefore chose to join the beta phase of the Hiboo maintenance module, driven by a proactive culture and a relationship of trust already established with the Hiboo teams.
Very quickly, the fit between the product and the company's needs became obvious.
The rollout is built around several key levers:
Team buy-in is strong. Staff are proactive. The tool makes their work visible and measurable: number of interventions, maintenance-plan tracking, task organization. This directly helps showcase their daily activity.
Pyramid rolled out its maintenance module, with 100% of hour-meter data now synchronized automatically.

The next phase of the project is already clearly defined.
First step: connecting the non-telematics fleet. Some equipment, such as grouting plants, cannot be fitted with telematics units. The goal is therefore to integrate them into Hiboo by creating non-connected assets and using QR codes, in order to get a complete view of the entire fleet.
Second challenge: using data to steer decisions. Even if 8 months is still not enough to draw definitive conclusions, Pyramid ultimately wants to rely on historical data to identify problematic machines, analyze maintenance costs, and assess utilization rates.
Finally, curative maintenance is becoming a key indicator. A machine stopped on a worksite is described internally as "a small bomb", given how immediate the consequences are. Reducing these incidents through better use of data is a strategic priority.
